Julie Rembold

Julie is a wife and mom of 5 kids (3 girls & 2 boys) and she takes care of a small farmstead that currently has chickens, pigs, cows, farm cats and a donkey!  She loves Jesus, running, gardening, reading and having discussions with anyone on philosophy, politics, the Bible, raising kids, science or any deep topic preferably over a good cup of coffee. She started running after her oldest was born (in 2007) and immediately fell in love with the sport, although found little time to run over the next 11 years as she grew her family from 1 to 5 kids (from 2007-2013) and then in 2017 was focused on curing her husband from an aggressive form of AML Leukemia.  In early 2018, she felt the time was finally right to really pursue running and was fortunate enough to being working with James McKirdy as her coach. From there it just took off and she realized the true passion she does have for this sport and the joy that hard work day in and day out adds to her life.  Julie is excited to keep working hard, being consistent and becoming the very best athlete she can be!
