Becky Angeles

Becky is a wife, mother of 2 (girl, boy) and works full-time as a healthcare analyst. She took up running at age 12 when she didn’t make the volleyball team. Becky competed in cross country and track throughout her high school and college years (Youngstown State). She came to Texas from Ohio for a college internship and immediately knew Texas was her new home – due to the welcoming hospitality of the DFW running community. She qualified for 2012 USA Olympic Trials Marathon just 11 months after her first child was born. Her lifelong goal is to run a marathon in every state (14 states down so far). This year’s goals include competing at various USATF Masters Championships. Becky enjoys traveling with her family (the mountains are always calling), cycling, and following along with and contributing to the never-ending chaos of family life.
