Amanda is a wife and mom of 2 girls who loves Jesus, running, music, and traveling. She was a soccer player growing up and discovered her love for running towards the end of college (Gig em!). She ran her first marathon in 2008 but didn't pursue serious training until 2012. She qualified for Boston that year and has since been whittling away at her marathon PR while also throwing down some PR's in shorter shorter distance races. She also took a year off training in 2015 to have her second daughter. Amanda has big dreams, loves to work hard, and believes teamwork makes everyone better.

Remember your dreams and fight for them. You must know what you want from life. There is just one thing that makes your dream become impossible: the fear of failure.  --Paulo Coelho
